Yes, Spring has officially arrived at Cottage Greene! Which means that the weather is either rainy or snowy with occasional glimpses of blue sky and sun......

Cottage residents have recently returned from a trip Stateside to re-unite with core Greene family members to celebrate the matriarch's 80th birthday. We arrived and departed in sequence, spending several days together at the Perritt Path retreat.

Meanwhile, Petunia made several new friends who visited her every day to provide food and playtime. Now that we are home again, Petunia is enjoying the company ~ and the opportunity to get outside to roam. She really enjoys herself out there in the wild! So far, she hasn't wandered too far from home base; when called you can hear her tags clinking as she runs and hops her way home. She's quite the explorer; even visited her new friends next door, who were impressed at how she handles dogs and is friendly even with strangers.

While someone I know is enjoying the beach, another is traveling to sunny California and yet another is soon to head South to New Orleans........I remain happy to be safely home again to our little cottage in the woods. -M
